DEVIL AND WOMAN

The Devil, sitting on His throne up-there
He saw down here a woman coquettish and fair.
"That evil, dirty creature, will be mine",
He said, "Before I count even to nine".

He takes His tools, His summons brings,
He bears all His strange and frightful things,
His slaves His servants His sons He calls-
His eye-sockets two red hot balls.

The woman- "My Lord, my Master", says to Him,
"My Lord, leave quiet Your faithful team-
Since from man to man You created me to go,
Then, I already am Yours as far as I know».
